With a new body capable of sprinting as fast as any animal on Earth, Jake’s mission is to infiltrate the Na’vi so the military can mine the precious minerals their homes are built on (again, it’s all very scientific, confusing and geeky). … All is progressing nicely until they witness a murder and have to be whisked away to a Wyoming ranch for safety. Before you can say New in Town, these city slickers are out riding horses and shooting rifles in the attempt to quickly … read more…
The Future Mrs. Waddles' Take on Life: A Decade in Review…

I don’t even know how to summarize it without crying. Life was coming together. It wasn’t easy. We knew it wouldn’t be. … read more…
Moments of my life, thoughts of my mind, written for you to see …
I barely passed anyone from Logan to Bear Lake and onto I-80. The traffic was light, the sun was shining, and there was little to no wind. I know from expeirence that I can make it from Logan to Rawlings, Wyoming without having to stop. … The next morning the sun was out and WyDot was reporting that the roads were opening but the road from the interstate to my parents house was now closed because of snow and wind. I really had no choice but to head back to Utah. … read more…

Resolved Question: Vermont – Cost of Living?
Does anyone know if it’s expensive to live in Vermont. Is it a nice state? Were thinking about moving from Wyoming to Vermont. I love trees & lakes, ponds etc. Are the houses expensive? Is there a lot to do there? Mind you I leave 2 hours away from Wal-Mart & any kind of mall. Thanks!

Resolved Question: Would you go out with me?
I can’t get a girlfriend for my life. Here’s what I’m like:
-Age 16
-I stand 6′1, large frame, well robust
-When it comes to looks, I am naturally a true ugly piece of shit. Imagine a 1985 Morten Harked with a devilock and a mustache. I look identical to that.
-I drive a 1973 Volkswagen Beetle, which I restored to factory mint. I also have four other air cooled Volkswagen’s being restored. I funded the whole thing, no subsidization.
-I work like hell. Often in the summers I work 52+ hrs a week, during school I work 20 hrs a week roughly. I make $28 an hour working plus $15 an hour driving plus etc bonuses. It ends up being an easy $1700 paycheck during the summer, sometimes over $2K.
-You go out with me, I reward you with a $300 dinner at Peter Lugar in Brooklyn, NY (100 miles away). That’s how thankful I am that someone has the courage to even talk to me.
-I am an ass for the first couple sentences, but show me respect and I’m the nicest guy going. That came from being harrassed, ridiculed, and mortally embarrassed in school since 1st grade, and is still going on today stronger than ever in 11th. I automatically assume every word to me is going to be some as*hole remark, so it’s hard to get to me. But ahead of that, I am a super super nice guy.
-My sense of humor is huge. You will never detect a single one of my jokes unless you listen. I’m very subtle with them, always making them sound serious, but they are funny as hell.
-I can drive very well. I race every now and then in a highly modified 1987 BMW M6 with 670hp that my brother built. I’ve won three times, never got below 3rd.
-I am a skilled window/door service man (that’s where I make my paycheck)
-I am also a skilled mechanic for classic Italian and German cars
-I highly enjoy long scenic drives. Sometimes I like it so much I keep on going. One day I left for a little afternoon road trip and found myself in Wyoming. I’m from CT.
-I’m rarely happy, simply because I am extremely lonely and have no one to spend time with but a 1968 Volkswagen Bus and a bunch of sash to put in customers’ houses. Needless to say if a girl were to find something in me I will do anything for her.
-I have a house on a beautiful, partially unoccupied lake in the Catskills. I am making payments on it now. It’s in my father’s name because I’m only 16, but I make the payments and pay utilities, and according to him it’s mine.
-I am in a band. We do horror punk, hardcore punk, and grindcore. I sing full time and I play the guitar a lot. I am good at both. I also write most of the songs, which are about torture, death, murder, all the usual horror punk stuff but a little more graphic and disturbing
So what do you think?

Resolved Question: Do you live in or around Gillette, Wyoming? What can you tell me about it?
My husband and I may be moving to Gillette with our 9 month old son. If you are from the area, live there now, or lived there once upon a time, could you share some of your thoughts about it? I really want to get a good feel for it. We are from a city of 60,000 people south of Seattle so I know it is a quite a bit different. Some of the specific things I am wondering about are:
- Are there really more trailer/mobile homes than houses?
- What is the shopping like? What major grocery stores, departments stores, bulk food stores, etc. are nearby?
- I am a stay-at-home mom. Are there a lot of families with young children? Are there many ways to meet and connect with similar families?
- Is it really so hard to find a decent place to rent?
- What is the cost of living like? I’ve done research on this but have heard different things. For example: What does the price of gas happen to be right now? How about milk or other basic groceries? What would a nice 2 bedroom apartment go for?
- I’ve heard that meth is really a problem. Is it true? And is it obvious among the people about town?
- Are the streets/parks/public places clean? Well kept? Landscaped?
- Are there other towns/communities within commuting distance that are worth living in? Perhaps even better to live in?
- Is there a movie theatre or shopping mall? What are other popular forms of entertainment/recreation?
- Is there much crime? What kind?
- Being from the PNW, we love our coffee! Are there many coffee stand/shops around town? I can always buy myself an espresso machine
- Are there any lakes/rivers/any kind of bodies of water?
- Would you recommend it as a place to live to a young family?
You certainly don’t have to answer each of these. I would also like to hear anything else you think I should know. Any input I can get is great. Thank you so much!
