Ways To Pay For a Large Home Improvement Project

With the housing market still suffering across the country, a lot of people are choosing to upgrade their homes instead of moving out. Improving the house you live in is often much cheaper than trying to find a new one, but there are still some significant costs involved with many different larger home remodeling projects.

Most big home improvement projects are expensive enough that it’s difficult to save up all the money you need all at once. By the same token, home improvements have become much more involved and complex and often entail completely changing a room rather than just applying a little paint and moving around some furniture. Here are three ways you can make a home improvement more affordable:

Break The Project Into Pieces: A lot of home improvement projects are really a bunch of smaller tasks all put together. When you remodel a kitchen you’re really replacing floors, replacing cabinets, replacing applians and so forth. Instead of putting out the full amount of money all at once, why not upgrade one aspect of your kitchen each year so that the cost is spread out over multiple years.

Credit Cards Offered By Hardware Stores: A lot of home improvement stores such as Lowe’s and The Home Depot offer low interest rate credit cards with zero interest or no payments for a limited amount of time. These stores usually offer great interest rates and special deals on materials and even contractor services if you use their cards, so you can save some real money with them over the long run.

Do It Yourself: Not everyone is a handyman, but most people can learn some basic home building and upgrading skills to at least do a little bit of work before hiring a professional. Even demolition work can be done by yourself if you’re careful. That alone can save you a lot of money. If you’re really handy then you might be able to complete your entire home improvement job and save thousands of dollars in labor costs.

Let’s face it: we all want a great house to live in, but that sometimes comes at a pretty steep price. By spreading out the payments and trying to do some work yourself you can save lots of money and turn an expensive home improvement project into an affordable series of smaller payments. You’ll be surprised at how quickly your current house can become your dream home!

Finances are tight for a lot of people right now, but you can learn how to convince your bank to modify your home loan so that you have extra money available for those home improvements.

Getting Huge Profits Through Land Flipping

You have purchased some tax delinquent land and now you are asking how you can make these purchases profitable by flipping them in a fast and efficient way without becoming a realtor or dealing with different pitfalls and loopholes. If you really want to get huge profits from land flipping, there are plenty of ways but in this article, I will discuss one of the best ways – which is land flipping on eBay! And, if you’ve already taken lots of photos of your land during the property inspection before you purchased your property, you can use all those photos to market your property on eBay.

Ebay is the best resource to use when land flipping for fast profit. The reason for this is because you can usually post your property and start accepting bids within a very short time frame. The average time frame to accept bids on your land is 7- 30 days. Even if you wanted to extend your time frame out to 30 days you can be sure to at least get an accepted bid at the end of the bidding period.

Either way you can be sure that by the end of 30 days you will more than likely have bids higher than you starting bid. Land flipping on eBay is a great way to turn raw land invesments into cash with a very nice profit. Rapid land flipping isvery critical especially if you are new to it. the reason for the is you need to sell the land quickly in order to get your initial investment back.

Like any other thing, there is also a disadvantage of using eBay for land flipping. This is because you don’t get to reach your full market potential because eBay is known for selling bargains. This means you might not flip the land at the highest price possible. However, imagine this – if you sell your property through a real estate agent or multiple listing service, you might have to wait for 2, 3, 6, and even 8 months to sell it. It makes sense to really sell it on eBay in a matter of a month or less especially if you are new because you will need to get your initial investment back fast to make another investment.

The reason for this is because the property will probably sit on the market. So as you can see, land flipping on eBay is the best resource to use when you looking to flip your land to make hige profits. This is indeed a lot better, and much more profitable than having to wait for your property to be sold in six months using land flipping.

Shorting Stocks

Most people know that you buy stocks and wait for a price appreciation to take place in order to make a capital gain. Can you make a capital gain when there is price depreciation in your stocks? Many beginning investors get confused when they realize that it is possible to make money when the stock falls in price. In practice, shorting a stock is as easy as buying stocks once you get hang of it. When the market is falling, investors sell short a stock with the goal of profiting from the fall in the price of that stock.

Short selling is confusing for new traders. It shouldn’t be. It is simple. The difference between the selling price and the buying price in case the price goes down is your profit. You borrow a stock from your broker and sell it with the intention of buying it back at a lower price in the near term future and returning it to your broker when you short a stock.

When the price of a stock goes down, you make profit. You are anticipating further fall in the price of the stock when you short a stock. However, if the price of the stock instead of going down starts to go up, you get a loss.

So shorting a stock without proper risk and money management is not wise. Theoretically a stock price can go up and up making your loss as big as infinity. However, before that happens most probably you will receive a margin call from your broker that leads to a forced sale before your losses reach unmanageable proportions.

In the stock market crash of 2008, many financial companies went bankrupt due to the short selling of their shares by the speculators. Some people are against the strategy of shorting stocks. A temporary ban was put on shorting for sometime during that period.

However, the goal of short selling is not to drive the price of a stock to zero and put the company out of business. In swing trading, we are simply looking to profit from the ups and downs of stock prices. When the price of a stock goes down, short selling is the best swing trading strategy.

Negative news like poor earning, credit rating downgrade or a poor product launch can bring down a stock price in a matter of minutes and wipe out the steady gains made in months. One reason why swing traders love short selling is due to the velocity of the moves!

Short selling is an integral part of options writing. Short selling is also used in portfolio risk management. Shot selling can be a good hedging strategy for long term investors too. So if you a long term investor, you can lessen the impact of the sharp price drop on your portfolio by using a short selling hedging strategy. Swing traders always look for big winners and this brings them to the short side of the market. When the price of a stock starts to fall, chances are it will fall more before the market stabilizes and the price starts to rise again.

Real Estate SEO Pros have assisted Real Estate Agents with their SEO needs behind the scenes for over a decade. After some debate we decided that it was time to unveil our SEO training for the general public and consent to all Agents access to our free video series.

Most Real Estate Agents working in todays market appreciate that SEO, Search Engine Optimization, is vital to both off line as well as on line success. Being able to capture the targeted buyers and sellers is the reason why SEO is critical, as over 80% of seekers (USA Today 2007) go on line before they approach an Agent, so Agents that understand this can profit from on this information.

You can see SEO as fundamentally two applications when it comes to working on a web presence. There is onsite and then there is offsite optimization. In order to decide where you should be placed, the search engines will look at your site from numerous angles so both onsite and offsite SEO is needed.

To have long term success on the Internet you need to use these concepts in concert with each other.. We are offering these free SEO videos to Real Estate Agents so that you can learn both aspects of this critical process. Lets have a discussion about our onsite Optimization video at this juncture.

Our onsite optimization video will be by and large primarily concerned with showing you what are the central factors to your onsite optimization. Our free videos offer anyone with a basic level of website knowledge with a way to manipulate and improve your site so that you can enhance your sites standings in the search engines and show that your site is worth visiting.

The number one step to onsite or On page optimization is applied to your sites, page titles. This is an often disregarded but significant onsite factor in search engine algorithms. Individuals repeatedly have the identical titles on every page but page titles are seen by search engines as a indicator to a pages subject matter. A good title should be key phrase rich and be specific to the content of the page. This is the start of good information architecture (a sites layout). It is best for every topic within your website to have its own page.

If you sell beach front acreage, have a page for that. If you market in Miami have a page for that, if you promote Lofts have a page for that. This enables you to optimize a page for a very particular set of key phrases. The Search engines foremost job is to deliver web pages to users that are directly related to the terms that they are typing in to hunt for. This means that the more specific your web pages are to a search term, the more likely you will achieve good rankings. More importantly, Real Estate is local, so don’t just use the term “real estate’ as a keyword. use “Miami Beach Front Property Real Estate” in the title and content of your page and you will get way more hungry buyers that are specifically seeking just that information out.

Next comes the core page content and this should also be defined and clarified by the neighboring subject matter. Writing good quality and unique content is a ability and as with anything it takes practice to get good at it. You know your region better than most, so you can really express your viewpoint in a unique way that can draw prospects to you. It is essential that you remain professional and be sure that your content reads well. You don’t need to over do the mentions of the key phrases you are optimizing for but do have it at the beginning and end of your contentIf you seek to use your key work phrases over and over the search engines can detect it as they look at the density of your keywords. This tactic will only lead to reducing the quality of your website visitors experience and therefore the search engines will likely penalize your website with a lower quality score. It will also most likely lead to a high bounce rate.

Using relevant keywords in your URL is another way to get the search engines to look highly at your site.. But if you have a site name already don’t be bothered as your content and page headers will make up for this over time. If you elect to create a number of sites, as many top sellers do then next go round bring in key phrases relating to page content. It is of value if your site names can be both short and memorable. Have your central phrase at the beginning of your site URL, MiamiBeachFrontRealty.com means you will show up for clients that are searching for Miami beach front property not San Diego beach front property.

One ignored item of onsite optimization is using image ALT text. As the search engines come to your site they index your images along with the text on the page, so it is worth using keyword phrases in alt text on your images. People that surf the web that are visually impaired use these tags to help them as they navigate around your site, using a reader. Once again, more is not better so do not go the path of ALT tag stuffing, which would not only hinder usability for the visually impaired but would hurt your rank in the search engines as much as keyword stuffing does.

The top area of your site behind the scenes are your important tags called header tags. These are called Meta Tags and should incorporate key phrase variations such as pluralizations along with a keyword rich narrative of your site that people will read on the search engine page results. While these indicate the subject of your page it is viewed by search engines as an guide to the key phrases being targeted for that page and that page only.

It is important to be aware of that each of these onsite SEO factors are helpful. So as you develop your page, or have your web master attend to it, or the kid down the block, start at the top with the URL purchase then move to your header tags and the page titles. These are weighted the most by the search engine algorithms. Then focus on your content as in the end all factors need to be considered if top rankings on the search engines are to be achieved for the most competitive key phrases.

Illuminative Paper Lanterns

The motherlands of decorative paper lanterns are China and Japan. However, nowadays, they are admired by many and are a popular choice for many occasions. Decorative paper lanterns are made in China and are usually put on the ground or suspended. These lanterns differ in shape, found crafted in square, oval and many other forms. Presently, paper lanterns come in multiple colours suitable for any occasion, though traditionally they are white.

Various calming terms and sayings are used on lanterns such as peace, strength, love etc.Decorative paper lanterns normally come in five types, called “crystal magic”, “rolling paper”, “baby’s bottom”, “tomato lights” and “Buddha’s gastronomy”.

The first category is typically used to decorate festivals at shrines. Tomato lights are lanterns resembling huge balls. This type is generally coloured red, and rolling paper lamps are usually made in cylindrical shapes.Bars and restaurants use these types widely, while baby’s bottom lanterns are usually popular as decorative lights at Christmas. These are somewhat smaller compared to other illuminative paper lanterns.

The Japanese paper lanterns are usually circular in design, although other shapes are also available under the Japanese label. The typical colour is white, although red is also used.China and Japan use similarly varied colours for lanterns, hence there is hardly any difference in lantern design from one country to the other.

Gone are the days when we used to see conventional paper lamps, now they are everywhere with meaningful phrases and words on them. Since Kanji is very similar to Chinese letters, those who buy lanterns with kanji decorative letters will find it difficult to see any difference.

Currently, designed paper lanterns are seen at almost every festival. Decorative paper lanterns are capable of adding that extra festive touch pleasing us with their colours and illuminations whenever we are at festivals or at other occasions.

Cody Scholberg, a lighting expert, writes about round paper lanterns. Check out this post on using candle paper lanterns !

Resolved Question: The stimulus went to what!?
These people have no clue…unless all they wanted to do was spend money and reward their friends. How does any of this tie in with stimulating the economy? Everyone knows that heavy infrastructure work and legitimate new construction projects help the most…hell, even temporally stopping collecting taxes for the feds for a quarter would’ve been more productive than this crap.

The $787 billion stimulus bill was passed in February and was promised as a job saver and economy booster. Here is where some of the money went:

- $300,000 for a GPS-equipped helicopter to hunt for radioactive rabbit droppings at the Hanford nuclear reservation in Washington state.

- $30 million for a spring training baseball complex for the Arizona Diamondbacks and Colorado Rockies.

- $11 million for Microsoft to build a bridge connecting its two headquarter campuses in Redmond, Wash., which are separated by a highway.

- $430,000 to repair a bridge in Iowa County, Wis., that carries 10 or fewer cars per day.

- $800,000 for the John Murtha Airport in Johnstown, Pa., serving about 20 passengers per day, to build a backup runway.

- $219,000 for Syracuse University to study the sex lives of freshmen women.

- $2.3 million for the U.S. Forest Service to rear large numbers of arthropods, including the Asian longhorned beetle, the nun moth and the woolly adelgid.

- $3.4 million for a 13-foot tunnel for turtles and other wildlife attempting to cross U.S. 27 in Lake Jackson, Fla.

- $1.15 million to install a guardrail for a persistently dry lake bed in Guymon, Okla.

- $9.38 million to renovate a century-old train depot in Lancaster County, Pa., that has not been used for three decades.

- $2.5 million in stimulus checks sent to the deceased.

- $6 million for a snow-making facility in Duluth, Minn.

- $173,834 to weatherize eight pickup trucks in Madison County, Ill.

- $20,000 for a fish sperm freezer at the Gavins Point National Fish Hatchery in South Dakota.

- $380,000 to spay and neuter pets in Wichita, Kan.

- $300 apiece for thousands of signs at road construction sites across the country announcing that the projects are funded by stimulus money.

- $1.5 million for a fence to block would-be jumpers from leaping off the All-American Bridge in Akron, Ohio.

- $1 million to study the health effects of environmentally friendly public housing on 300 people in Chicago.

- $356,000 for Indiana University to study childhood comprehension of foreign accents compared with native speech.

- $983,952 for street beautification in Ann Arbor, Mich., including decorative lighting, trees, benches and bike paths.

- $148,438 for Washington State University to analyze the use of marijuana in conjunction with medications like morphine.

- $462,000 to purchase 22 concrete toilets for use in the Mark Twain National Forest in Missouri

- $3.1 million to transform a canal barge into a floating museum that will travel the Erie Canal in New York state.

- $1.3 million on government arts jobs in Maine, including $30,000 for basket makers, $20,000 for storytelling and $12,500 for a music festival.

- $71,000 for a hybrid car to be used by student drivers in Colchester, Vt., as well as a plug-in hybrid for town workers decked out with a sign touting the vehicle’s energy efficiency.

- $1 million for Portland, Ore., to replace 100 aging bike lockers and build a garage that would house 250 bicycles.

Resolved Question: Airlines reporting you to PeTA?
I came across this on one of my email lists. What do you think?

>>>Here’s a good one for you:

Well, this is a first! I just called Frontier Airlines to book a flight for two adult cockers to Colorado tomorrow. The guy (named Al in Denver’s cargo office) told me there was a 4 hour layover and was I sure I wanted to ship
them. I said I did and he told me he would book them into a kennel facility if they exceeded the 4 hours there. I said if that is policy then that would be fine. He put me on hold to reserve the kennel I guess and then came back and said he’d book my flight but was calling PETA on me. No humane society
or explanations about why he was concerned for a 4 hr layover. Just sicing PETA on me.
>
This is my first time using this airline and was per request of the buyer because they charge so much less for shipping two dogs. Well, I said nothing but got his name, found out he was the supervisor there and then called the customer service lines to lodge my complaint. I also called the airline affiliated with them that the dogs are supposed to use to get to their final city. I called the manager of the entire cargo service for Frontier.
I have not heard back from the manager yet as I was re-booking the flight on Continental when he rang through. I always use Continental and they worked with me even though they could not confirm the booking on the affiliates flight and though it is less than 24 hours to departure. I love Continental
but they do charge per crate—WHOOPEE considering I am now worried PETA will show up at my damn door–this guy has all my contact info and can pass it along-as well as that of my buyer! At least my dogs are safely in the house but still they have free run to come and go through the back door–what a Freaking MESS!!
>
> At least Continental uses the same affiliates and would take my word they were scheduled for the commuter flight and booked anyway without verification from the Great Lakes affiliates– verification from the Great
Lakes that seems to be and she is working with me to keep the booking as I switch
the main airline. Of course I now have to hope I can get the health cert in the morning because I spent 4 hours trying to book a flight and missed my vet appt.
>
KNOW your airlines guys–one radical in cargo can sick PETA on you. Oh, and by the way, Continental’ s flight had another city to fly to first so it is actually a 3 hr LONGER flight–see why I just avoid most people. They just make life harder sometimes and now the dogs have 3 more hours of confusion before they get to their new home. I am so Burnin’ mad I can’t speak straight!

Just had to warn everyone to stay away from Frontier until they change manpower–yes, two dogs to one place is far cheaper but the ramifications could be life altering–how sad from just trying to book a flight!!

Let’s all hope this guy is out of a job but be aware PETA is apparently putting sympathetic folks in cargo offices so they get notified. WHAT is gonna be next!! Damned if I have dogs and Damed when I try to place some of
them.

And feel free to crosspost to others know to beware.  read more…

yacketayakking screaming vomiting whispering facts and memories and
anecdotes and eyeball kicks and shocks of hospitals and jails and wars,
whole intellects disgorged in total recall for seven days and nights with
brilliant eyes, meat for the Synagogue cast on the pavement,
who vanished into nowhere Zen New Jersey leaving a trail of ambiguous
picture postcards of Atlantic City Hall,
suffering Eastern sweats and Tangerian bone-grindings and migraines of
China under junk-withdrawal in Newark’s bleak furnished room,
who wandered around and around at midnight in the railroad yard wonder-
ing where to go, and went, leaving no broken hearts,
who lit cigarettes in boxcars boxcars boxcars racketing through snow toward
lonesome farms in grandfather night,
who studied Plotinus Poe St. John of the Cross telepathy and bop kabbalah
because the cosmos instinctively vibrated at their feet in Kansas,
who loned it through the streets of Idaho seeking visionary indian angels
who were visionary indian angels,
who thought they were only mad when Baltimore gleamed in supernatural
ecstasy,
who jumped in limousines with the Chinaman of Oklahoma on the impulse
of winter midnight streetlight smalltown rain,
who lounged hungry and lonesome through Houston seeking jazz or sex or
soup, and followed the brilliant Spaniard to converse about America
and Eternity, a hopeless task, and so took ship to Africa,
who disappeared into the volcanoes of Mexico leaving behind nothing but
the shadow of dungarees and the lava and ash of poetry scattered in
fireplace Chicago,
who reappeared on the West Coast investigating the FBI in beards and shorts
with big pacifist eyes sexy in their dark skin passing out incompre-
hensible leaflets,
who burned cigarette holes in their arms protesting the narcotic tobacco haze
of Capitalism,
who distributed Supercommunist pamphlets in Union Square weeping and
undressing while the sirens of Los Alamos wailed them down, and
wailed down Wall, and the Staten Island ferry also wailed,
who broke down crying in white gymnasiums naked and trembling before
the machinery of other skeletons,
who bit detectives in the neck and shrieked with delight in policecars for
committing no crime but their own wild cooking pederasty and
intoxication,
who howled on their knees in the subway and were dragged off the roof
waving genitals and manuscripts,
who let themselves be fucked in the ass by saintly motorcyclists, and
screamed with joy,
who blew and were blown by those human seraphim, the sailors, caresses of
Atlantic and Caribbean love,
who balled in the morning in the evenings in rosegardens and the grass of
public parks and cemeteries scattering their semen freely to whom-
ever come who may,
who hiccuped endlessly trying to giggle but wound up with a sob behind
a partition in a Turkish Bath when the blond & naked angel came to
pierce them with a sword,
who lost their loveboys to the three old shrews of fate the one eyed shrew
of the heterosexual dollar the one eyed shrew that winks out of the
womb and the one eyed shrew that does nothing but sit on her ass
and snip the intellectual golden threads of the craftsman’s loom.
who copulated ecstatic and insatiate with a bottle of beer a sweetheart a
package of cigarettes a candle and fell off the bed, and continued
along the floor and down the hall and ended fainting on the wall with
a vision of ultimate cunt and come eluding the last gyzym of con-
sciousness,
who sweetened the snatches of a million girls trembling in the sunset, and
were red eyed in the morning but prepared to sweeten the snatch of
the sunrise, flashing buttocks under barns and naked in the lake,
who went out whoring through Colorado in myriad stolen night-cars, N.C.,
secret hero of these poems, cocksman and Adonis of Denver–joy to
the memory of his innumerable lays of girls in empty lots & diner
backyards, moviehouses’ rickety rows, on mountaintops in caves or
with gaunt waitresses in familiar roadside lonely petticoat upliftings
& especially secret gas-station solipsisms of johns, & hometown alleys
too,
who faded out in vast sordid movies, were shifted in dreams, woke on a
sudden Manhattan, and picked themselves up out of basements hung-
over with heartless Tokay and horrors of Third Avenue iron dreams
& stumbled to unemployment offices,
who walked all night with their shoes full of blood on the snowbank docks
waiting for a door in the East River to open to a room full of steam-
heat and opium,
who created great suicidal dramas on the apartment cliff-banks of the Hud-
son under the wartime blue floodlight of the moon & their heads shall
be crowned with laurel in oblivion,
who ate the lamb stew of the imagination or digested the crab at the muddy
bottom of the rivers of Bowery,
who wept at the romance of the streets with their pushcarts full of onions
and bad music,
who sat in boxes breathing in the darkness under the bridge, and rose up to
build harpsichords in their lofts,
who coughed on the sixth floor of Harlem crowned with flame under the
tubercular sky surrounded by orange crates of theology,
who scribbled all night rocking and rolling over lofty incantations which in
the yellow morning were stanzas of gibberish,
who cooked rotten animals lung heart feet tail borsht & tortillas dreaming
of the pure vegetable kingdom,
who plunged themselves under meat trucks looking for an egg,
who threw their watches off the roof to cast their ballot for Eternity outside
of Time, & alarm clocks fell on their heads every day for the next
decade,
who cut their wrists three times successively unsuccessfully, gave up and
were forced to open antique stores where they thought they were
growing old and cried,
who were burned alive in their innocent flannel suits on Madison Avenue
amid blasts of leaden verse & the tanked-up clatter of the iron regi-
ments of fashion & the nitroglycerine shrieks of the fairies of advertis-
ing & the mustard gas of sinister intelligent editors, or were run down
by the drunken taxicabs of Absolute Reality,
who jumped off the Brooklyn Bridge this actually happened and walked
away unknown and forgotten into the ghostly daze of Chinatown
soup alleyways & firetrucks, not even one free beer,
who sang out of their windows in despair, fell out of the subway window,
jumped in the filthy Passaic, leaped on negroes, cried all over the
street, danced on broken wineglasses barefoot smashed phonograph
records of nostalgic European 1930s German jazz finished the whis-
key and threw up groaning into the bloody toilet, moans in their ears
and the blast of colossal steamwhistles,
who barreled down the highways of the past journeying to the each other’s
hotrod-Golgotha jail-solitude watch or Birmingham jazz incarnation,
who drove crosscountry seventytwo hours to find out if I had a vision or you
had a vision or he had a vision to find out Eternity,
who journeyed to Denver, who died in Denver, who came back to Denver
& waited in vain, who watched over Denver & brooded & loned in
Denver and finally went away to find out the Time, & now Denver
is lonesome for her heroes,
who fell on their knees in hopeless cathedrals praying for each other’s salva-
tion and light and breasts, until the soul illuminated its hair for a
second,
who crashed through their minds in jail waiting for impossible criminals
with golden heads and the charm of reality in their hearts who sang
sweet blues to Alcatraz,
who retired to Mexico to cultivate a habit, or Rocky Mount to tender Buddha
or Tangiers to boys or Southern Pacific to the black locomotive or
Harvard to Narcissus to Woodlawn to the daisychain or grave,
who demanded sanity trials accusing the radio of hypnotism & were left with
their insanity & their hands & a hung jury,
who threw potato salad at CCNY lecturers on Dadaism and subsequently
presented themselves on the granite steps of the madhouse with
shaven heads and harlequin speech of suicide, demanding instanta-
neous lobotomy,
and who were given instead the concrete void of insulin Metrazol electricity
hydrotherapy psychotherapy occupational therapy pingpong & am-
nesia,
who in humorless protest overturned only one symbolic pingpong table,
resting briefly in catatonia,
returning years later truly bald except for a wig of blood, and tears and
fingers, to the visible madman doom of the wards of the madtowns
of the East,
Pilgrim State’s Rockland’s and Greystone’s foetid halls, bickering with the
echoes of the soul, rocking and rolling in the midnight solitude-bench
dolmen-realms of love, dream of life a nightmare, bodies turned to
stone as heavy as the moon,
with mother finally ******, and the last fantastic book flung out of the
tenement window, and the last door closed at 4 a.m. and the last
telephone slammed at the wall in reply and the last furnished room
emptied down to the last piece of mental furniture, a yellow paper
rose twisted on a wire hanger in the closet, and even that imaginary,
nothing but a hopeful little bit of hallucination–
ah, Carl, while you are not safe I am not safe, and now you’re really in the
total animal soup of time–
and who therefore ran through the icy streets obsessed with a sudden flash
of the alchemy of the use of the ellipse the catalog the meter & the
vibrating plane,
who dreamt and made incarnate gaps in Time & Space through images
juxtaposed, and trapped the archangel of the soul between 2 visual
images and joined the elemental verbs and set the noun and dash of
consciousness together jumping with sensation of Pater Omnipotens
Aeterna Deus
to recreate the syntax and measure of poor human prose and stand before
you speechless and intelligent and shaking with shame, rejected yet
confessing out the soul to conform to the rhythm of thought in his
naked and endless head,
the madman bum and angel beat in Time, unknown, yet putting down here
what might be left to say in time come after death,
and rose reincarnate in the ghostly clothes of jazz in the goldhorn shadow
of the band and blew the suffering of America’s naked mind for love
into an eli eli lamma lamma sabacthani saxophone cry that shivered
the cities down to the last radio
with the absolute heart of the poem of life butchered out of their own bodies
good to eat a thousand years.
